WHY DO I NEED TO SUBMIT AN INCURRED COST PROPOSAL?
Contractors with Cost type and T&M contracts are required to submit an incurred cost proposal because indirect provisional billing rates, based on estimates, are used to charge the contract throughout the fiscal year. Actual costs incurred, calculated at the end of the contractor's fiscal year, maybe different that the estimated indirect rates.  Thus, the purpose of the Incurred Cost Proposal is to “true up” the actual indirect costs to the indirect costs rates billed throughout the year.  Our experts have helped contractors prepare incurred cost submissions and can help your small business prepare and submit yours at an affordable cost.
